Ken Watson Teacher * Singer * Songwriter Ken Watson travels the Western States with a van full of ocean artifacts, stories, his guitar and a highly charged passion for our oceans and the life within them. He has painted over 100 ocean murals with children, on playgrounds, school walls, and handball backboards. Ken was a classroom teacher for 13 years in Los Angeles and Irvine, California, and spent 3 years as a general and choral music instructor. He worked for the Los Angeles Museum of Science and Industry for 10 years and as a consultant for Outdoor Education through the LA County Office of Education. For 16 summers he taught Marine Science to middle school children, spending most of the class underwater with the kids in masks, fins and snorkels.
