Marvelous Monsters of the Deep
Presentation (50 minutes)

A look at the family of whales in our world, with a special emphasis on the Pacific Gray whale. Wander through the whale bone yard, compare different types of baleen, gasp at a 10 1/2 foot jaw bone and find out what you can do to help preserve the lives of these gentle giants. Ken's slides take children above and below the surface to capture the whale’s lives on screen. And…there’s always time to sing!
Ocean Nation

An up close and personal look at the special adaptations Mother Nature has provided the plants and animals in their ocean realm. Gaze at the worlds largest gastropod. Check out the teeth that belonged to prehistoric sharks. Peer at a puffer fish and stare at a stingray. Slides and original music provide a creative focus to the presentation.
Giants in the Tidepools
Presentation (50 minutes)

Splish splash through the tidepool life of California’s coastline. Live ocean creatures help the children understand how animals and plants survive in this constantly changing environment. Learn about tides, tidal zonation, the ecological balance of the tidepools and the amazing life within. There will even be time to sing!
Jaws Takes a Bow
Presentation (50 minutes)

A closeup look at the myths and realities surrounding natures best adapted predator, the shark. Learn about different species of sharks and rays from the bat ray to the great white and discover the amazing adaptations that have allowed them to survive from prehistoric times to the present.
Sea Chanties and Stuff
Presentation (50 minutes)

A collection of original compositions by singer/songwriter Ken Watson along with ocean artifacts from shark jaws and pufferfish to whale baleen, and a thread of narrative, weave this experience into a must see, must hear presentation. The music and words float the children through ankle deep tidepool waters and plunge them into the deepest, darkest depths of the ocean world. While being totally submerged they explore everything from the tides to the lives of the amazing animals trying to cope with the natural and man made problems in their daily lives. This one leaves you full and smiling.
Kelp and Coral
Presentation (50 minutes)

Two different habitats, tropical and temperate, supporting two different worlds beneath the ocean's surface. Discover the amazing diversity of plants and animals in their inner tidal ocean homes as we investigate with the help of live animals, kelp, ocean artifacts, slides and song.
Myths, Monsters and Maneaters
Presentation (50 minutes)

An examination of sea monster lore, from Homer's Odyssey to Jaws, with a focus on sharks, whales and the giant squid. Music and a slide presentation joined with real whale bones, shark jaws and other ocean artifacts help explain the myths and realities of the monsters and maneaters in the sea.
